PTSA needs volunteers for two dates: Tuesday, May 25th, and Wednesday, May 26th!

Tuesday, May 25th, Volunteers will help in the school store during all 3 lunches.

Wednesday, May 26th, volunteers will set up, make, and distribute snocones & popcorn during all lunches!

Walker Middle Magnet PTSA has three open Executive Board positions. They are:
VP Communications: All things Communication
  • Website - maintain our PTSA website with appropriate and current content. 
  • Social Media - post on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Maintain schedule of events on FB. Authorize users to post on Walker pages.
  • Newsletter -Weekly (lunchroom news slideshow for students and staff shown every lunch period and throughout the building where appropriate), a monthly newsletter sent out the 1st of each month, and additional updates weekly update via Mailchimp when needed.
  • Flyers for events - Create flyers and posts for events to keep continuity throughout the year. All information regarding dates, times, and wording will be provided.

VP Programs:
  • Oversees and/or coordinates all programs and develops new programs as needed. This person supports programs without chairs leading them and supports and communicates with the chairs for programs that have them.
VP Advocacy:
  • Oversees and/or coordinates all programs listed and develops new programs as needed. This person supports programs without chairs leading them and supports and communicates with the chairs for programs that have them. (PAWS, Red Ribbon, Service).
