Today's Technology Thursday website feature is HAAL Pass, part of the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative.  This is FREE and every student enrolled in a Hillsborough County Public School can access the public library resources with their 7-digit Student ID Number (Lunch Number) and the default PIN is 4321.

At this time, while libraries are closed to the public due to Covid-19, students using HAAL Pass are not able to reserve books to pick up curbside at the library.  They may still use online resources. Once the libraries are back open, students may use HAAL pass to pick up books at the library.  If the student would like to reserve a library book before the libraries open to be picked up curbside, they may do so by applying for a juvenile library card here.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • HAAL Pass allows students to borrow e-resources and access library databases just like any other HCPLC library card.
  • Students can also borrow up to 3 print or audio books, DVDs or CDs.
  • There are no overdue fines with the public library for HAAL Pass accounts.
  • All students will automatically be enrolled in this program and be able to use their school ID number to access library services.
  • The default PIN is 4321.
